Favorite Books

Hello. Haven't write for quite some time. hehe :D

Just wanna share a few of my favorite books and which the content that stuck in my mind.
I really encourage people around me to read. It starts from my parents' habit of bringing me to KL International Book Fair every year up till now.

To read books doesn't mean you have to buy all the expensive books. Can try borrow books from other people of your own interest or just go to Big Bad Wolf that offer super cheap price HAHA.
Btw the description of the book taken from mph website.

1. Dear Leader (by Jang Jin-Sung)
- I love this one 😀. Bought it at BBW.

“The General will now enter the room.”
Everyone turns to stone. Not moving my head, I direct my eyes to a point halfway up the archway where Kim Jong-il's face will soon appear…
As North Korea's State Poet Laureate, Jang Jin-sung led a charmed life. With food provisions (even as the country suffered through its great famine), a travel pass, access to strictly censored information, and audiences with Kim Jong-il himself, his life in Pyongyang seemed safe and secure. But this privileged existence was about to be shattered. When a strictly forbidden magazine he lent to a friend goes missing, Jang Jin-sung must flee for his life.
Never before has a member of the elite described the inner workings of this totalitarian state and its propaganda machine. An astonishing exposé told through the heart-stopping story of Jang Jin-sung's escape to South Korea, Dear Leader is a rare and unprecedented insight into the world's most secretive and repressive regime.

2. Doktor Umum (by Tun Dr. Mahathir)
-my first non-fiction book that I read seriously during form 4 haha.

3. Dari Puncak Andalusia (by Dr. Tariq Suwaidan) - As a muslim sometimes it's good to read about our history. This one is Indonesian language.

Andalusia pernah menjadi bukti sejarah kegemilangan Islam.

4. Warcross & Wildcard (by Marie Lu)
- now fiction novel about game & hacking. I am amazed by the sophistication of technology. 😍

For the millions who log in every day, Warcross isn't just a game - it's a way of life. Struggling to make ends meet, teenage hacker Emika Chen works as a bounty hunter, tracking down players who bet on the game illegally.

When Emika hacks into the game illegally, she's convinced she'll be arrested, and is shocked when she gets a call from the game's creator, the elusive young billionaire Hideo Tanaka, with an irresistible offer. He needs a spy on the inside of this year's tournament in order to uncover a security problem . . . and he wants Emika for the job.

Emika Chen barely made it out of the Warcross Championships alive. Now that she knows the truth behind Hideo's new NeuroLink algorithm, she can no longer trust the one person she's always looked up to, who she once thought was on her side.

Determined to put a stop to Hideo's grim plans, Emika and the Phoenix Riders band together, only to find a new threat lurking on the neon-lit streets of Tokyo. Someone's put a bounty on Emika's head, and her sole chance for survival lies with Zero and the Blackcoats, his ruthless crew. But Emika soon learns that Zero isn't all that he seems--and his protection comes at a price.

Caught in a web of betrayal, with the future of free will at risk, just how far will Emika go to take down the man she loves?
